Elisa is an experienced trainer and is qualified to teach, First Aid, First Aid for Mental Health and Mini Medics our first aid course for kids.
Elisa spent 20 years working for British Midland and British Airways where health and safety and first aid training was a significant part of her job. She had to deal with various medical emergencies both in the air and on the ground.
Elisa studied psychology at Glasgow University and has always had an interest in Mental Health & Wellbeing. She feels honored that she can now teach First Aid for Mental Health to companies and help people recognise early signs and symptoms of Mental Health issues and also how to promote positive mental health and wellbeing within the workplace.
Her Mini-medics classes have received great feedback and she has secured a long-term contract with a local private college to deliver the training as an after-school club.
John has recently retired from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service after a career spanning 30 years. During this time, he worked in multiple roles up to and including Strategic level gaining the rank of Deputy Assistant Chief Officer in the role of Head of the Prevention and Protection Directorate in support of the Principal Director.
He has conducted investigations into some of the most serious fire incidents of the past ten years.
John’s most recent post saw him as Project Manager on the delivery of several high value contracts and managing budgets in the region of £60 million.
During his role as Project Manager safety was at the forefront of all operations and he has implemented and managed several health and safety action plans.
John holds the NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety, IOSH certificates, PRINCE2 Project Management qualifications, a Diploma in Public Service Leadership and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).
